Nag apply ako para guro sa US

Processing fee, service fee, ticket, housing (4months), airport-housing transfer, h1b visa: $12,000
roughly kalahating milyon pesos.

Mga tanong ko:

1. okay ba ang Renaissance Staffing?
2. okay na ba $12,000? too much ba yan?

Hello jamica! Are you one of the applicants who attended the orientation last fri, august 17? I also made it through the interview and I wish to continue with the processing but I have the same queries as yours. Maybe we can update each other if we hear of any feedback/developments about our application with renaissance. I hope the others who have left for the US already will shed light regarding this matter and also those who are still in the waiting process will share their experiences here. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!

Hi! wasn't able to update you pala. I didn't pursue it na. Wouldn't want to risk half a million since there was a lot of tell-tale signs that Renaissance was into illegal recruitment. There are no current job orders. Check POEA website and supposedly if the job is really true then we wouldn't have to pay for placement fees. I think Sir Sid is a farce.

You can reach me through flip1.ja@gmail.com

Hi mga kababayan,

I have connections with non-profit organizations in the US. In my line of job, I have encountered a lot
of human trafficking victims from different recruitment agencies in the Philippines. One of which is Renaissance which its old name Great Provider. Marami pa ito ibang pangalan ng agency ginamit.
I pity the hundreds (thousands by now probably) recruited by MR. ISIDRO RODRIGUEZ.

I have read some blog from other teachers thanking him for bringing them to the US but the real truth is far different from reality. Mr. Rodriguez recruits more than the job orders. Syempre may kokonti na totoo para paniwalaan siya but the greater majority is FAKE and false promise. Imagine spending almost $20,000 in fees (most are suprise fees which they collect when they have lured you already) just to come to US and end up in odd jobs. Mr. Sid is the SEED of EVIL to Filipinos. People are taken advantage of their american dream but end up in visa fraud with no real H1B/H2B visas.

Please don't be fooled by this guy. Just spend your money for something else worthy. Most of people he recruited end up selling their properties and in deep debt with financing agencies (which he refer also and collects huge interest fees).

I hope POEA and the Philippine government will look into his illegal operations and put him behind bars.
He has no conscience, all he is after is your money. I hope USCIS will scrutinize the employment based petitions filed by his agency so that his illegal operations will end.

With the worsening economic situation of our country, I know most of us wanted to seek greener pasture abroad but before taking any step further you must investigate first the recruitment agency you're going.
Unfortunately, the government cannot protect you from illegal recruiters/traffickers because even they are POEA accrediated they do illegal activities.

Magkaisa tayo at labanan ang illegal na gawain ng mga recruiters lalo na si ISIDRO RODRIGUEZ!!!!

Mga kababayan, if your petition is legal, you don't have to pay for filing and other fees including airfare which most recruitment agencies do like Renaisance (former Great Provider). Under USIS policy, the employer should shoulder all the expenses related to your employment in the US. Mr. Isidro Rodriguez, and his cohorts, are engaged in a syndicate victimizing vulnerable Filipinos who wants to seek greener pasture abroad. Please let other know.... please lang para hindi na dumami biktima niya sa Amerika.

I was surprised because I think they haven't reviewed my CV yet with that very fast and eager response. I checked POEA's site and there was no job order, last JO was last year pa. Anyway, good thing there is google and this site. Thanks for the info guys.

I am one of the applicants of Renaissance since 2011...I have had high hopes of going to the US...I was eager to pay, in fact, I'd paid the said amount needed last year of March and said I was bound to leave last year of Summer....I have been told that I'll work at California with the owner Parenas who also conducted a seminar in 2011.Becoz of that, I was fully convinced that this agency is valid although I have heard rumors or was directly informed by Isidro himself about the issue. At first I didn't care becoz I had a college friend who was deployed by this agency in 2008...
But up to now...I am still here in the Phils...
Last year of November, we were invited to meet employers from Washington DC...when I was in the office I was mad becoz they told me that the school in California was closed already without any notification for us....instead, we met another so-called Black American employers who interviewed us. While waiting for our turn... i was able to talk to other hopeful teachers like me and to my surprise some of us had been waiting for 3 years! One teacher said he already experienced the so-called interview by employers face-to-face! I couldn't believe that this agency had been hiring a lot of teachers, giving promises but until now nothing is happening!
During the interview...I asked those Blk Americans the name of the school in Washington but couldn't give me exact names! They even told us that their school will be open on December of 2012...
But I have a feeling this is all a bogus!
I am so disappointed with this agency especially Isidro....I've wanted to get my money back.... how can I get my money back??? What to do with this man?!!!

Mam I hope that you are really a teacher and if you have any problems with the company as I was briefed before everything is refundable. As you have said in this tread that you have a friend that left with this company, why are you still doubting with them. I left the Philippines 2011 also at alam ko lahat kami nakaalis maybe there's 2 or 3 na naiwan because they have a problem with the paperwork. How come you are an applicant trying to destroy the credebility of this company, that's why I have doubts na hindi ka teacher. Mahirap magpaalis ng teacher right now, it's not easy going to US. Bilib parin ako kay kalbo sa dami nyang napaalis, continuous ang pagdeploy nya and last I heard na may dumating dito na teacher nung January. I missed there office staff especially si Mam Chris. There are about 500 plus in DC right now and counting even nga yung employer ko kumukuha pa ng teacher kay kalbo. Kamustahin nyo nalng ako kay kalbo. I still owe him BIGTIME. If it wasn't for him I would not be able to bring my daughter to the US. Mam if you have doubts with him or if you are really a teacher, you can do the refund. Tama na yang pagsisira ninyo. Most of them are not true naman it's all exageration. If I am applying for an agency I will not put the agency down because my papers and my money is relying on them so why pull them down that's why I'm doubting you. Mabuhay ang mga teachers and mabuhay si kalbo.

i was at renaissance yesterday, Mr. Sid Rodriguez did the interview and orientation. Afterwhich, his assistant discussed the placement fee, etc. When i got home, i searched the net for assurance that this agency is legal until i came up to this site. Thank God I was not lured right away. Ingat po s mga future applicants nila.
