These are important things we could possibly do, for those of us job seekers
who had doubts on our status specially when feedbacks at the agency says
mostly, "under process ang visa mo"

Is there a way on it, When we are obliged to pay for the processing fee ,10 thou in my case,
that we could check and verify it on the POEA (main or through the net) to check our names there
in their databases if these agency truly process our visa applications for certain. If our names is verified
then that would give us a relief since these trusted agencies really. But what if , after paying such
fees, like for two weeks, then you started your inquiry and you found out that there are no processes
that takes place with your name on that agency. I think this will give us lights, or make us more
realize to be very cautious by then. After reading alot of threads here, i just realize that these scums and fraud could
be avoided if we have the access on this information at the POEA. At least by then we could be aware of our moves towards these agency.

Imagine paying them for the POEA pay which cost USD 100, OWWA 25, Philhealth ..
these are the processing cost plus their overhead and then you just found out ,
That they havent process these papers that we pay them to. This is truly an eye opening
for us job seekers especially for the beginners.

Any lights on this would be truly appleciated.

many thatnx for those who spend time reading this thread, and you too find these
one a good check that we must be aware of. Sino pa ba ang magtulong tulungan
di tayo din lamang..
good days.

kabayang vladthorfin, you brought up a good point here but i think we don't have a system to check if an existing applicant's visa has been processed already by the agency, no one will know about this info except the agency and the concerned embassy itself.

The best solution is for each applicant to research and ask every details and breakdown of what you paid for. Don't be hesitant to ask because you deserve to be informed. My fellow countrymen who dream of working abroad, we need to be assertive and smart enough to deal with our application. Keep yourself informed on those things that you really need to know, be proactive!

Again and again para sa kaalaman ng lahat, please see the link below for a detailed legitimate process on your application for working abroad.

You are most welcome kabayang vladthorfin.

I hope you will join me in spreading the good news that we have shared in this forum so more and more Filipinos are being educated on the very basic of working abroad application process.

Thats indeed true kabayan. After reading alot of good threads on this site
I was encouraged to maybe create a step by step process detailed,,
from recruitment to deployment.. the papers needed.
this of course would come from peoples experiences and shares on forums.

I really want to learn more and share this to our kabayans out there
who needs those awareness and confidence. This will lighten our doubts
and will be more positive on our job hunting abroad

Hi guys,

I'm new here.

just read your helpful info on legal docs for foreign employment.
Thanks very much.

Additional querry lang: Is NBI clearance a legal requirement? Or just required by the agency or the employer?

Tanong ko lang. How easy is to request a job order from the employer?
