1. Employer Interview - Face to face, yong iba online via Skype or Chat.

this is a good thread ,,

sana may mag elaborate pa..

like , if pag nerequire tayo ng agency for processing fee, does that mean na lalakarin tlga nila

If your agency will ask for a processing fee, you need to ask them back on what kind of process are they asking for payment. As posted above, you need to figure out on how much are you going to pay with the agency for the "processing fee" that they've ask.

Base po sa aking kaalaman regarding payments of medical examination, you have to pay it directly to the clinic kung saan ka magpa medical. Hindi kolang alam sa GBMLT kung bakit ganon ang processo nila, you should have an official receipt of your medical expense payment coming from the clinic and not from your agency.

Minsan po kasi under process pa daw or approval kaya di pa naka post sa website nila.
Sana po makatulong.. :)

Kabayang dhenzio good day.

I would like to share my experience on this agency and give your thoughts if
i they did follow the legit process on my application.
If it fall then sa tama at procedure for job applcation abroad.

I attended PESO jobfair here in our city last dec
Last MArch 16 2012 i recieved a call from the agency in Cebu informing me
to attend for their client interview on the 18th. I went there.
They asked for my resume and other docs. I took the exam.
I passed the interview and signed an offer letter (contract).

The agency told us to wait for their call since their Principals
will still be advising them if we are approved to take our medical.
I sense that maybe they are accepting more than the required applicants
and probably theyre going to make a final pick for those who are offered later.
They also said i need to submit to them my orig passport , so i did.

I waited, comes April 12. The agency call and said to report for my Medical the following day.
I went there , they gave us reference letter to be given to the clinic were assigned to.
After the medical, we returned to the agencys office and fill up forms like
the PAGIBIG OWWA . They took my nbi clearance. they said they need us to forward
8 pcs 2x2 pic formal. I recieved their feedback tht im fit to work after 3 days.
I send 10 2x2 pics. and thats it.

Alot of waiting,, I made a follow up and the said my visa was still on process.

Then last June 21 , i call to follow up my docs at thier main office
They said thier Principals had emailed them that our visa will be
arriving by next week. She informed me to prepare 10thou for the processing fee.

By June 26, i recieved a text from the main office informing me to report for my
visa,, and need to settle the 10 thou for the documentation fee.
So i went at the branch in cebu to pay for my Processing fee 10thou.
But first i asked the personnel there to confirmed on their main office
If my visa really did arrive. They tried to contact through the net but they
said the people at the main office were not online yet. It seems that the main office
hadnt contacted them about visa matter.. This cast a little doubt on my part
for i thought there are papers to show me like my visa documents
and stuff like that before pating anything like the 10thou processing fee.
I paid the amount to their accounting personel
I asked for a receipt and she told me they dont issue any receipts on those.
At that time i was even hesitant but still submit accordingly.
Im aware its kind of irrregular but waht could i do if i must insist
to take what they really couldnt give they might try to jeopardize the ongoing
process . The accounting personal who entertained me, created an INDEX CARD,
opened up excel and took my details name, company, position and the amount i
pay. She printed it on the index card , and she told me to singed it.
That she said will be the proof that i paid my dues to them.
They will show that index card at their main office they said.

Last july 8, i follow up and they said its still under process.
When i check at the poea website if they have job order on the
position i have with on the agency, there isnt one.

Could it possibly that the JO is still on process as well or havent been updated
on their website. Can hardly make a costly mobile to landline inquiry
at the poea hotlines. But i will invest on that one later.

Kabayan, it was indeed a long story, and i hope you could give some lights on these.
I know i wasnt vigilant enough to guard on my transactions , since it
was just lately that i joined here on the forums and found out tips on how
to avoid frauds.

I still trust them though. And hopeful , that by this week or next theyd
call for the final steps (placement and flight sked)

Does the agency indeed followed the legit steps?

thanx.

vladthorfin, i appreciate you for bringing this up.

First of all, would you mind telling us here the name of the agency?

I really could not say if your agency is fraud, it just happen that they're so hungry to take your money without getting the job done first. Now here's the trigger point and let me ask you this, they asked you to pay 10K for the processing of your visa? That sounds S**PID for me! They could have proceed the visa application process to the embassy without asking your money first. The employer's point of contact for hiring you is the agency, if the employer is really pushing them to speed up the recruitment process considering that all requirements are complete, then you wouldn't be here already asking these questions. After all, they can still ask for it before your departure. Most or shall i say majority if not all employers in the middle east countries are paying for their workers visa application process. So asking payments for visa processing from the applicants should not be required. This processing fee payment is just a compliment for what they've done to their applicants. During my first flight abroad, i gave 2,500 pesos to the man in charge of the agency as processing fee but it was given in the airport on the day of my departure without any receipts. I came from the province and due to time constraints, we just met at the airport where they handed over my passport and some documents.

I have a feeling that the visa application process to the embassy have not started yet since no job order was issued from the POEA. Although i am not 100% sure about this process but this might be the cause of the delay. For as long as all requirements are complete which you have done from your side, it should'nt take that long to get the visa stamp on your passport. Visa application process in Saudi Embassy will take 3-5 days only and i think it is similar to other middle east emabassy as well provided that all required formalities are complete from both sides.

I hope that helps...
