I just want to share my experience here in New ZEaland. I came to Auckland last 2009 after working in Saudi arabia. My first entry was a visitor's visa and i've tried to get a job offer but at that time it was recession. Due to recession, i've decided to study a business management for 1 year so i could work legally as a part time. I worked in different hospitality job as a part time like in La Porchetta as waiter, and Mc Donalds as McCafe Crew. When i finished my diploma in Business management, then NZ immigration gave me a one year working visa under job search category as one of their policy. When i got my working visa then i applied to Starbucks Coffee as Shift Manager. If anyone out there wants to come over here as student visa then it would be the best option. I could help you to get in to the school where i i have done my studies.

Hi everyone,

"Setting your goals and determination can strikes your fear"

Its me mojos from OFW guide, i got all your email. Like what i said to my post" student visa is the best option for you to get a new zealand qualification and to settle here too. If you are a graduate of any business course in the Philippines, then you should take any business course like management or hospitality management. New Zealand immigration have been modified the policy for two year student visa instead of one year. While you are doing your studies you are allowed to work for 20 hours per week in any kind of job-you might interested to apply. As per the immigration policy, you are entitled for a one year working visa after your studies-whilst you want to apply for a residency then its your chance to land for a job which is related to your studies. That visa is under job search category visa-should not be wasted. That visa would be your eligibility to apply for a permanent residency- if you will get a job based on your New Zealand qualification.

For nurses:

If you are graduate in any medical degree like nursing, then you have edge to settle yourself in New Zealand. You can either take a healthcare course or General English course You can also work in the rest home as caregiver or any kind of job-as part time. New Zealand immigration has no discretion about what job you should apply for as part time.

where to lodge your application:

If you are out of the philippines, or if you are working in the middle east- its much easier for you to apply for a student visa. You can lodge your application to the NEw Zealand Embassy in Dubai, It will take one-3 months but more of the cases-student visa will be approved by principle within a month. You don't need to pay the school for course fee at early stage of your visa application, the immigration will advised you to pay the school once the student visa application has been approved by "principle".

What do we need from you are as follows:

-curriculum vitae, passport copy, school credentials such as diploma and transcript. Note: I need to confirm from my school about the IELTS exam.

If you are really keen, then we will send you the enrollment pack-you have to send it back to us once you fill out the form.

Courses fee:

Diploma of business management (2 year)-NZ$ 16,500 (needs to confirm)
Healthcare Level 6- NZ$19,500 (needs to confirm)
General english course -duration 6 months or 1 year

Please don't hesitate to email me anytime if you have some clarification. You may contact me on this email address noel_aguil@yahoo.com

Regards,

Noel

Feeling ko rin parang hindi sapat, kasi magbabayad pa sa accommodation, foods and transportation isali pa siguro ang pang tuition fee.

so nagpunta ka na ng NZ or UK using this program? can u share some of your experiences? duda kasi ako sa 20 hours a week work na yan, buti kung ung school e bbigyan ka rin ng sahod...

iniiisip ko how will i survive there kung 20 hours per week lang ang allowed to work...

so gaano ka katagal dun bago ka ngdecide umuwi? much better pa rin ang Immgration sa Canada tlaga...
