Hello and welcome sa forum! :D

Btw, kahit "immigration" services lang kanilang ino-offer sa 'yo, kailangan pa din na licensed at accredited sila ng POEA para dito... according to POEA MC NO. 10 - Series of 2003 Item II - Licensing, "Immigration consultancy agencies and similar entities as above referred to, which are based locally, are required to obtain a license in accordance with the guidelines governing the requirements and procedure for issuance of a landbased license as provided in Part II, Rule I, Sections I and 2 and Rule II, Sections 1 to 5 of the 2002 POEA Rules and Regulations, before they may engage in recruitment and placement activities, regardless of the visa under which deployment shall be made eventually." - and definitely, as applicant, it is our rights to ask them kung compliance ba sila sa regulation ng POEA para sa kanila... this is to protect as from any scam or illegal recruitment...

Kung initial application pa lang naman, gaya halimbawa ng submittal ng photocopies ng mga documents mo for initial assessment, why not?... as long na "no money" involved for initial assessment and application, just go!...

And that is the right time also to ask about their process... and if you still want, we can discuss it here...

Again, if it is free assessment, that would be OK... pamasahe lang 'yung damaged ninyo at oras... and at the same time, at least, may idea na kayo kung pupuwede ba kayo sa Australia / New Zealand o hindi...

As far as I know, hindi manpower supply gaya ng mga ibang local agencies ang Convergence... but if they will offer you a "job" to New Zealand or Australia, one thing na kailangan ninyong siguraduhin at itanong sa kanila ay kung may approved job order ba sila from POEA...

hi fellow nurses, nakaattend na ako before ng orientation nila. they will text you, telling that they will "assess" your application. actually, yung sinasabi nilang assessment, parang iche2ck lang nila yung resume mo, tapos sasabihin lang nila yung pwedeng way or options na pwede magawa para makaapply abroad. wala pong fee iyon. before the assessment, ididiscuss muna nila yung offers nila. sa mga nurses, like me, usually mga bridging programs lang offer nila, no direct hiring. ang maganda lang sa kanila is mababa ang fee nila sa pagprocess etc. unlike other immigration agencies. naconsider ko na convergence dati, kaso may konting doubts lng ako, konti lng. its about the school na kung saan mgeenroll sa nursing sa australia. chineck ng brother ko yung convergence kung affiliated sa isang school sa australia, kaso wala daw sa listahan nung school. but he's not totally sure kung nacheck nya ng husto yung list. anyway, i have to check pa talaga ng husto mga agencies. hindi biro ang pera na papakawalan dito.
