Ano nga ba balita sa sponsorship system ng Saudi Arabia? Tuloy na ba ito.... Ano ba advantage at disadvantage nito sa ating mga OFW?

Ang "sponsorship system", well, daanin natin sa layman's explanation para madaling maintindihan... ito ay isang sistema na kung saan ay nananatili lamang ang isang foreign worker sa bansa dahil sa may isang lokal (or legal residents na may legal business) na liable sa kanya... under this sponsorship system, hindi pupuwedeng magtrabaho sa iba ang foreign worker o lumipat ng ibang trabaho (or employer) nang walang kaukulang permiso sa kanyang kasalukuyang sponsor (or employer) - kaya dito na nauso 'yung NOC (No Objection Certificate)...

BUT, the thing na nagbago dito ay 'yung "NOC"... under this new system, hindi na kailangan ng employee na humingi ng permiso (or No Objection Certificate) sa kanyang kasalakuyang employer para makalipat ng ibang trabaho (o employer)... at pupuwede nang hindi na lumabas ng bansa ang employee kung diretso na s'yang kukunin nang bagong employer... pero may mga pre-conditions ang ganitong privilege... una, kailangan na nakatapos ng kontrata ang employee at pangalawa, walang kaso na inihain sa kanya ang dati n'yang employer...

To be honest, kahit ma-abolish ang "sponsorship system" na kasalukuyang umiiral, kapag may sa demonyo at gusto ka talagang pahirapan ng employer, they can easily file a case against you and that's it → required kang lumabas ng bansa at siguradong naka-ban ka...
