I am a yet-to-be OFW bound for KSA (The Desert Kindom of Heaven). I had been following this forum for quite some time now. The forum is indeed very informative and interesting. It has given me a lot of information about the country I am planning to work in. I have learned some of the local customs such as the wearing of abaya for women, the interaction of the opposite sex is prohibited (but i don't know if its ok with same sex interactions.... :D  :D ), the religious hiding away from the mutawas during prayer time, the application of death penalty to anyone who committed robbery, drug smuggling and all and etc....there was so much that I cannnot remember them all. However, I would like to know about the country's public transport system. Is there any Bus Terminal or Jeep Terminal or even a Camel Terminal in Saudi Arabia? Can anyone please inform me about the minimum fare in these buses, jeeps or camels perhaps?

Thank you in Advance for your answers fellow forumers and moderators.

Good Day. :D

Camel terminal?!$#@ Magulo yata itong tanong mo? Well, any way walang camel terminal sa Saudi except doon sa mga camel rides sa ibang lugar for tourist attraction. Sa city hindi allowed ang Camel. Sa Transport system, some city have buses and taxi's are common. But if your working in a company they provide service for their employees from accommodation to shopping centers or groceries. Long distance travel may available trains in the Eastern region and buses from one city to another. But pero common ang taxi or you have a contact regular driver in which it will ferry you to and pro in your destination. Depende sa usapan nyo ng driver yon. Maraming pinoy driver dyan that cater to this. Transport system varies from city to city depende kung saan ka maassign. :)

as for taxi drivers, there are Saudis, indias, banglas and other nationalities. but mas preferred ko yong mga foreign drivers (indias, banglas ,etc) kesa Saudis. you'll know why pag andito ka na.

for buses meron ding SAPTCo (Saudi A. Public Transport Co) but very very limited.
