Thank you for the opportunity to share to all kababayans who wish to get a job abroad.

I was in libya I remember it was December 2004 our project is near completion when I started clicking all the website in the internet to find a jobs suitable on my position. I have open up is the workabroad site and
found out that there was a forum ofw_forum/workplace/classified ads for overseas work which there is a person name dannyffz (Danny Fernandez) was the author.

I open it up and was surprise to see that there are available email addresses on every job vacancies posted, so I gathered all the companies email information and for 3 consecutive months I start
sending emails to all possible companies who shall be interested in my Resume/CV.

Until one day, I saw this WWW.IPEDEX.COM in which I simply inserted my CV to this official website and after a 4 days I receive an email offering me for possible job position abroad, which I accept and working in Doha Qatar presently.

Tip ko lang sa mga kabayans eh! make sure na mga CV natin ay maayos at konting tiyaga lang talaga, ako nga eh almost 4 months na nag email, bago nakakuha ng job thru this forum.

just wondering though if no cover letter is required?
CV lang ba talaga ang kailangan?

Dumating ako last November 6 at nag-stay ako sa manila for 2 weeks para mag-apply bago umuwi sa probinsiya. Sa ngayon po nandito ako sa Iloilo at naghihintay sa result ng pinag-applyan ko. Sa awa po nang Diyos, nag-email sa akin ang ni-recommend mo na Maunsell company. Tinanggap ko po ang offer nila sa akin at nag-send po ako ng passport copy. Sana po matuloy na ito at ma-process na ang papers ko. Update ko po kayo kung anu man ang mangyari.

If you will check www.gulf-times.com you will find a number of rooms for rent. But you need to be here to fix that. Normally, companies will provide accommodations for incoming employees. You , maybe , coming with visit visa. Your problem is compounded kung babae ka....kasi mas mahirap humanap ng room para sa babae. Good luck.

I am very glad and thankful na meron taong katulad nyo na handang tumulong sa kapwa natin Pilipino na gusto rin magtrabaho dito sa abroad. I'm currently working in Dubai as Senior Accountant. And tulad nyo whenever I come across this forum and nakakita ako ng mga posts regarding queries about working abroad eh nag rereply din ako. I think kasi na kahit konti eh makakatulong ako sa mga kabayan natin na gusto rin mag abroad.

Hi Good Day, I really enjoyed reading all ur write-ups here. Nakita ko kasi na ur currently working in Dubai.

I will be in dubai kasi this 27th of April, trying lang to find my luck for job. I worked here as an executive secretary for almost 5 years in a multi-national company with an expat boss.

Ask ko lang po sana, malaki ba chance ko makahanap work dyan?demand ba work dyan for executive secretary? im on visit visa lang kasi pero ang alam ko if ever magustuhan ka ng employer sila na daw aapply for a working permit, totoo ba yan?

Also, my friend who will sponsor me to visit there told me that she will send me only a scan copy of my visit visa at yung orginal makukuha ko na daw un sa dubai immigration? totoo ba un? kasi ang iniisip ko dito sa atin immigration eh baka questionin ako.

Also, totoo bang mas mahirap pa dito ang immigration natin kesa dyan sa dubai?matanong daw?
