so pwede na ba yung pagdating dun eh may work na agad as registered nurse?
kasi yung mga kawork ko 4 years mahigit na sila sa hospital pagdating naman dun wala pang work.
wala kasi akong kamag anak kaya mahirap para samga gaya ko sumugal. hehe

AFAIK, i heard for nurses mag aaral pa ng 2 years to be qualified as RN in Canada, i dont know kung sa Medtech ganyan din. ewan ko ba kung bakit yung 4 years college natin is kulang pa sa kanila!   pero ayos lang madali lang naman mag aral, ang importante andun ka na, and anything will follow, just what the other guy said also in the previous pages.

pwede ka mg work ng kahit anu dito while studying...then after mo mg aral at makapsa ng board exam nila, ayun pwede mo na ipractice profession mo...

i prefer this than going back to middle east...

and you need to pass the IELTS (general module, academic module is for US H1B working visa)... na me mas mababa band score compared sa Asutralia, New Zealand at UK...

u dont need to have relative in canada just tobecome immigrant, basta maabot mo ung 67 points system minium qualified ka as Immigrant.

these are the categories of the point system:

AGE 21-49 y/o - 10 pts

RELATIVE IN CANADA(1st Degree only) - 5 points

EDUCATION:
PHD - 25 pts
MASTERAL/MA/ or 2 courses/double degree - 22 pts
BS / BA college degree - 20 pts

WORK EXPERIENCE:
4 YEARS ABOVE - 21 pts
3 YEARS - 19 pts
2 YEARS - 17 pts
1 YEAR - 15 pts

ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT/JOB OFFER IN CANADA - 10 pts

Spouse or Common law partner’s education - 5,4 ,3 pts

LANGUAGE:
FRENCH - 8 pts.
ENGLISH - 16 pts
(u must pass the IELTS GENERAL MODULE bandscore LISTENING 7.5, READING WRITING SPEAKING 6.5 to obtain this 16 pts)

Try to assess yourself kung papasok kayo sa 67 minimum points system, kung andyan sa taas ung profession nyo at me 67 points kayu, u r qualified for CANADA as IMMGIRANT!!!!

and u need also a P500,000 bank certicate that will be presented to Canada embassy, and 500,000 pesos pocket money when u go to Canada, to proof that u can survive there for six months...the 500,000 is good for 6 months daw, cguro naman 1 month ka palang dun nakahanap ka na ng work, any work basta hindi ka mapili kahit hindi related sa profession mo.

pinaka importante: ANDUN KA NA Sa CANADA!!!

...it's your choice...

yes im very agree w/ this. mgbabayad ka nga lang ng consultation fee mga 60-70k, pero sure naman ang pag process ng papers mo, kesa sa self apply ka, hindi mo alam kung tama ba yung ginagawa mo na pwede ka mareject pag me kulang or mali...

Sorry guys to burst your bubbles.. Please read below:

Effective July 1, 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will temporarily cease accepting new applications to the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) and Immigrant Investor programs.
This temporary moratorium on new applications has been enacted so that the government can efficiently process applications already in queue. Candidates with offers of arranged employment, as well as those applying under the PhD stream, are still welcome to apply to the FSW program.

“We have been making lots of changes to our economic immigration system,” said Citizenship and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney. “We will take the next six months to do a lot of the heavy lifting to get us closer to a fast and flexible immigration system.”

Intake of new applications is expected to resume in January 2013, when additional proposed FSW changes are expected to become effective. Minister Kenney added that “the pause has no impact on the number of workers Canada admits into the country, as CIC continues to process applications already received. Current immigration remains at historically high levels”.

Got a SMS today:

Good news! Instead of opening on july1, canada will accept immigrant visa applications in january 2013 to give people more time to prepare.
time frame: july- sign up with CIS
july to september- documentation, forms analysis, encoding, job description review (usually lasts 90days)
october/november- take IELTS GT
december- open account for show money and prepare embassy fee.
January- submit documents plus ielts result, show money bank cert & embassy fee.
Those in the demand list with 67points are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to sign up with CIS asap so we can process your papers. Canada will broaden its immigration criteria in january so people who are not included in the demand list and those who did not reach 67points may now start processing with CIS for as low as 10,000pesos. For more details, pls call CIS. I'll be in CIS on monday july2 & tuesday july3 to discuss the memo of canadian govt

Hi, Mike..

This is not good news... It simply means it will take a little longer before an applicant can submit application to CEM.. Unless an applicant do have an Arranged Employment here in Canada..

CIS marketing strategy takes it on a brighter side to encouraged more aspiring immigrants.
